Our
Story

We first crossed paths in 2017, and it didn’t take long for us to realise we were onto something special. By 2018, we’d moved in together, mainly because Loz didn’t want to leave and Ash didn’t want to argue, but also because it felt like home.

The years that followed were filled with gigs, festivals, and plenty of late nights laughing over what Rodger was going to dress as in every episode of American Dad. In 2021, we decided life wasn’t chaotic enough, so along came Max, our chocolate crazy spaniel, who instantly became the boss of the house and completed our little trio.

Fast forward to 2024, when the three of us moved into our first home together. By sheer coincidence, or excellent planning, depending on who you ask, our moving day landed on our 7-year anniversary. Talk about meant to be!

Then came 2025, when Ash finally popped the question on a magical trip to the Peak District. Luckily, Lauren said yes, otherwise it would have been a very awkward drive home…

Looking back, each year has brought us new adventures, a bit more laughter, and plenty of stories we’ll never forget. We can’t wait for the next chapter — starting with celebrating our wedding day with all of you.

See you there! xx

The Venue

The Gardens

We are delighted to announce that we will be getting married at The Gardens, an enchanting, rustic country garden, with the most beautiful views, and endless photo opportunities.

We fell in love with the venue from the moment we arrived at our viewing. Ash stood at the end of the aisle and from that moment on, we couldn’t imagine having our wedding held anywhere else.

We look forward to seeing you there!

bride

Lauren Green

You can thank this woman for the entire wedding day setup. Planning started at the age of 8, and if you have any complaints, keep them to yourself.

Groom

Ashley Stubbington

If you see this man teeing off on the golf course on the 20th July, be sure to get his ass home and remind him of where the wedding venue is. He was never gonna make that birdie anyway.

Bridesmaid

Lauren Carter

Not even living 11,000 miles away in New Zealand, would stop this girl from missing her best friend’s wedding…

Truth is, she’s only back for the sun.

BRIDESMAID

Samantha Green

Sammie is the protective big sister and will have no shame in pouring a glass of red wine over any guest that wishes to make the day, at all stressful, for the bride or groom.

BRIDESMAID

Alicia Stubbington

If you’re old or vulnerable and need some assistance on the day, don’t be afraid to wave down the super nurse. Or as I like to call her, the “First Aid Bridesmaid!”

FLOWER GIRLS

Mia & Millie Green

Our nieces represent life itself. Mia is the reminder of all the joy that life can bring. While Millz likes to remind us that life is sometimes just smelly bums and twerking in people’s faces.

BEST MAN

Spencer Smeed

The Groom’s ride or die from the school playground back in 2000. Also, if you hear a loud laugh, it’s probably Spence.

brother of the bride

Sam Green

The man responsible for 90% of the bride’s childhood injuries, after one too many WWE set-ups in our living room. Older by 7 years, wiser by minus 6 years.

GROOMSMAN

Jordan Stubbington

This guy has read many a book, can hold an intellectual conversation, but has yet to overcome his anger when playing board games.

groomsman

Ben Jewiss

A guy’s best mate and the best Window Fitter in the South East.

Sponsored by Amazing Glazing.

GROOMSMAN

Liam Banbury

A man with a great beard, a shiny head, and an amazing story about a Cabbage!

Be sure to ask him.

Mother of the bride

Jacqui Lalley

No one has been on more holidays than this woman. Europe? Done it. Disney? Completed it. Cruises? Probably on one as we speak.

Mother of the groom

Alison Stubbington

The calmest woman in every situation, unless Mark decides to bust out Julio Iglesias on the Alexa.

father of the groom

Mark Stubbington

If you speak Spanish, you’ll be this guy’s best friend. Su español es perfecto… si hablamos de cerveza y tapas.

Guest Attire

Strictly Formal

What Should I Wear?

We’d love our guests to embrace a soft, romantic look by wearing either pastels or earthy tones, which will complement the gorgeous garden setting and create the elegant atmosphere we’re hoping for.

Colours to Avoid!

To help our wedding party stand out, we kindly ask that guests avoid wearing taupe and light beige. And for the ladies, we kindly ask you to avoid wearing white (for obvious reasons). This will keep those shades special for the bridal party while still leaving plenty of beautiful colour options for you to choose from.

We’d Love To Celebrate With You!

Don’t forget to complete our RSVP form to let us know if you’re attending & have the chance to choose your grub!

FAQs

Commonly asked wedding-related questions.

Can I wear a colour that isn’t on your specific list of colours to wear?2026-01-11T20:25:13+00:00

We’d love for our guests to stick to the suggested colour palette (pastel colours and soft tones) so the photos look beautifully coordinated, but if that’s tricky, please just aim for something similar in tone. The most important thing is that you’re comfortable and ready to celebrate with us. All we ask is that you kindly avoid colours from our avoid list.

Do you have a wedding gift wish list?2025-09-17T21:00:51+01:00

Your presence on our special day is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you would like to mark the occasion with a gesture, we would be so grateful for contributions towards our honeymoon, helping us create lasting memories as newlyweds!

Are children welcome?2025-09-17T20:55:48+01:00

We adore your little ones, but we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration (aside from the children within our families). We hope this gives you a chance to relax, let your hair down and enjoy the day!

Can I bring a plus one?2025-08-19T15:53:59+01:00

We’ve carefully curated our guest list to keep the day intimate, so invitations are only for the names listed. We hope you understand and can still join us for the celebration.

When do I need to RSVP by?2025-09-17T21:06:51+01:00

Please RSVP by 31st May 2026, so we can finalise numbers and make all the necessary arrangements to ensure you are truly catered for on our special day.

Is there parking available on site?2025-09-17T21:18:54+01:00

Yes! There is parking available at the venue, and cars can be left overnight. However, please note that this will be on a first-come first-served basis, and all vehicles must be collected no later than 10:00 am the following morning.

What time should we arrive?2026-01-11T18:59:19+00:00

Our ceremony will begin at 13:30, and we kindly ask that guests arrive for 13:00. This will give everyone plenty of time to get settled and ensure we can start on time. We can’t wait to see you there – Loz will be the one in white!

Can we take photos during the ceremony?2026-01-11T18:59:06+00:00

Our ceremony is “unplugged”, so we kindly ask that no photos be taken during our ceremony. We would love to see your faces, not your phones. That being said, we would love for you to capture the rest of the day, full of all of our other special moments. So, please be sure to use the hashtag #WALLYWEDDING when sharing any photos on social media!
